Meet our New Baby {H}!

{http://lilyphotography-blog.com/2013/06/03/newborn-baby-h-session/}
Meet our New Baby {H}!  H was born at 2:13 am.  I woke up at 12:45 am and was uncomfortable but wasn't feeling painful contractions.  But I was showing other signs of labor; so we decided to go to the hospital.  We needed to see if I was in labor, because All of our Babies have been born extremely fast, only minutes after we got to the hospital.  So we were trying to be extra cautious (and early) this time, so the baby wouldn't be born at home or on the way to the hospital.  So we went to the hospital, and I was sure that I was having false labor.  I even told the Nurse that, when they were checking me, to see if I was in labor.  Then she said to me, "You Are in Labor.  You're dilated to a 5/6!".  I was shocked because I wasn't even feeling labor pains.  I was just feeling a little uncomfortable.  She was born in less than an hour, without pain medication, because labor was too fast.  She weighed 8 lbs and 10 oz. and measured 21.5 inches.  We are So Excited to have her here in our family! :)  She was an extra Wonderful Christmas Present! :)

All of the kids were SO excited to meet their new baby sister H.  I had been telling them for weeks that the baby was going to come around New Years, because 3 out of my 4 kids had come within a day or on their due date (except one who was born 4 days early).  So I didn't expect Baby H to be early.  The kids were all asleep when we left for the hospital (Mark's parents came and watched them for us), so they were surprised in the morning to find Grandma and Grandpa there to greet them, instead of Mom and Dad.  And extra surprised that they had a new baby sister waiting for them to meet at the hospital.  They all Loved holding her, kissing her and snuggling her.  They all fell in Love with her at first sight.  It's So amazing to watch them lovin' on baby HSo sweet!  So adorable. :)

We LOVE and ADORE our Sweet Baby H.  She is so Sweet and Adorable.  We Love having her in our Family! :) We feel So Blessed to have our 5 Precious Children. :)

xoxo. H {a special thanks to my sister Angela who helped me with some of these. Love you}.

October Events: Baptism, Sealing, Halloween

Little Man E's 8 year Session, to see more from his session check out my Photo Blog.
E's Baptism was so wonderful.  We got to have a Baptism for just him, and we had a lot of Family and Friends attend.  The whole program was by our Family (from both sides: Prayers by Grandpas, Talks by Uncle Joe and Grandma, Pianist and Chorister: Grandmas, Confirmation Circle: Little Man E had his Daddy, our Bishop, Both Grandfathers, and 7 of his Uncles) and it was awesome.  Little Man E sang with some of his cousins and siblings, "I Come to the Water," a Baptism song that I sang at my own Baptism as well, so it was really special for me to have them sing it.
Little Man E was Baptized and Confirmed by his father (Mark), and it was a wonderful, Spiritual experience.  I was very moved seeing my oldest child be baptized and confirmed by my dear husband.  We were all so proud of Little Man E for making the right choice to be baptized into Jesus Christ's true Church.
We were so happy to have so many Family and Friends attend, it made it even more special.  We had a dinner afterwards, and we got to have many lovely conversations with those who were there.
We went to the Temple for Mark's oldest brother's (Scot) sealing to his wife (Laura), and all of Mark's siblings, their spouses and his parents got to be there.  It was really special to be there with all of them.  We went on a Hayride, (driven by Mark's Dad) with Mark's side of the family and it was really fun.  Little Man E (and Little Miss R) have been learning to read, and making some great progress towards independent literacy.  Last picture of Little Man C and cousin C.
We had a Fabulous Halloween this year.  During the day, I took Little Miss K and Little Man C to Little Miss R and Little Man E's School Halloween Parties and Parades.  They were a lot of fun to attend, especially for the kiddos.  Little Miss R and Little Man E loved having their siblings there also.  The kids enjoyed treats, snacks, activities and games together.  Little Man E and Little Miss R's classrooms are very close together; so Little Miss K attended Little Miss R's party and Little Man C attended Little Man E's party (and I went back and forth between the two of them).  In the evening, I took the kiddos (Little Man E: Ninja, Little Miss R: Vampire, Little Miss K: Witch, Little Man C: Pooh Bear) to the Trunk or Treat, and they had a lot of fun (while Mark handed out candy at home).  Then we traded and Mark took them Trick or Treating around our neighborhood and to family members (while I handed out candy at home).  The kids were So Excited about all of the treats that they got in their buckets!  We had a Wonderful Halloween this year!  We always Love Halloween. :)

We Love our Family...Announcing our newest...

{Addition} We sure do Love our Kiddos, and our sweet little Family.  We are Excited to Announce that we are Expecting Baby #5, Due {Monday} December 31st 2012 {New Years Eve}!

Last week, we had our Ultrasound and found out the Gender of the Baby...
We enjoy surprising the Kiddos with the Gender of the Baby, having them open a Gift with new outfits for that Gender; to "tell" the kids, which gender the baby will be, {by the outfits}.  Well, our Girls wanted it to be a Girl and our Boys wanted it to be a Boy (although I don't think Little Man C really knows I'm pregnant at all).  But we didn't really have a preference {Mark and I} because we already have 2 Girls and 2 Boys.  So we'd be happy either way...
As you can probably tell from the picture, the Kids opened up a PINK bucket with outfits for a new Baby GIRL. The Girls were Ecstatic! Little Man E wasn't very happy (as you can tell from the picture), at first, but he's okay with it now. We are all thrilled to know that the Baby will be a Girl. I am enjoying feeling the baby move and kick inside of me. I love this part of pregnancy, when I'm over being sick {I get sick every time.  Although I get sicker with my Boys than my Girls.  But I have been able to predict correctly the Gender of the Baby, based on how sick I get; which Gender the Baby will be.  It's pretty neat.} and I feel the movements of my babies inside. I Love it!

It's a BOY! Announcing the birth of our newest addition!! :)

Last Thursday, on my Due Date September 2010 ( I have always gone really close to my due date, the day after, 4 days before and the day before but never on my actual due date!), I started having irregular contractions about 2:00 pm, and I was thinking this is probably it, because they were painful, but you'd think I'd know exactly when to go into the hospital, because this is baby number 4, but let me tell you, it doesn't get any easier, not being sure about that.  But because I have always gone very fast with my labors, I really don't have much time to second guess myself--I just need to get in there.
Well, I had been talking to Mark about whether we should go into the hospital, and we finally decided that it was time to go by 3:30 pm.  It's ridiculous really, because the worst that could happen with going to get checked and not being far along, is that you'd get sent home, but in my case, if I wait too long, then I'd have the baby at home.  Well, Mark's mom came over to watch the kids, and Mark and I left in a hurry to get to the hospital at 3:45 pm.  By that point I knew it had to be it, because my contractions were close together, and I was feeling more pressure.
We got to the hospital at about 3:58 pm, and the front desk people were telling me that I needed to register, I was like, "No, I am having this baby RIGHT now, the last baby I had was born 20 minutes after I got to the hospital, I need to go upstairs NOW."  Well, they listened to me (don't mess with a woman in labor right?).  Mark was still parking, and bringing my bags in, and a nice guy offered to wheel me upstairs in a wheel chair (yah, couldn't really walk very well by this point).  I got upstairs, and into the hospital gown and sat in the bed, and my water broke.  My doctor happened to be at the hospital at a meeting, her and Mark walked in at the same time, and they checked me and I was dilated to a 10!  They said the baby was coming out already, so I pushed ONCE and he was out!  Born at 4:04 pm.  I couldn't believe how fast it was, even though I always have had really fast labors, (First two were 5 hours, Second two were 2 hours) I was in SHOCK at how incredibly fast this labor went.
But the baby, and I were both healthy and it went very well.  I was just glad that we made it to the hospital before he was born!!  It was a pretty close call!!  We had a very hard time this whole pregnancy deciding on what his name was going to be.  But when we both saw him, Mark and I both thought, before we even talked to each other, that his name is Baby C.  We'd been praying that we'd be able to think of a good name that fit him, and our prayers were answered because we were both inspired to name him that.  :)  His name is C, middle name after Mark's father.  Baby C has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.  He also has dimples on both cheeks!! :)  I just love dimples.  He weighs 8 lbs and 3 oz, and measures 21.5 inches long (Pretty close in size to the other kids, but the biggest so far (by 6 oz)--Little Man E was 7lb 13 oz, 21 inches, Little Miss R was 7lbs 9 oz, 22 inches and Little Miss K was 7lbs 6oz and 20 inches).  Mark brought me a dozen long stemmed red roses at the hospital.
We were in the hospital for a couple of days, he was on an IV with antibiotics while we were there.  Because he came out so fast, he had a little air outside his lungs in his chest, that was making it harder on him to breathe.  He was making a grunting noise--but the antibiotics cleared that up.  We are all doing great, and really enjoying having our new Baby brother C, at our home.  My mom is down visiting and it is very fun having her here!  We are going to bless him at church, the first Sunday in November.
Happy Big Sister R with Baby brother C.
Happy Big Sister K, with Baby Brother C.

Excited Big Brother E with new Baby Brother C

I had too much fun taking all of these pictures. :)
