My Sister Celestia & Fatih Visit {08.2007}
Thursday August 23, 2007
Yesterday, Celestia and Fatih & boys called us up and said that they were coming to visit us. What a surprise! So we were pretty excited to have them come. Well, they ate dinner with us (after they arrived) and then we talked and spent time together until we went to sleep. Little man E and Cousin S were very excited to see each other and to play. Little Miss R enjoyed playing with Cousin S also. Cousin H was so cute! All that hair! Then today, we woke up, and had breakfast, Fatih went to work with Mark. Little Man E, but especially Little Miss R, enjoyed giving Cousin H, kisses and snuggles. She really loves babies. It makes me glad to see that. It is great to see that she adores them so much. Celestia and I took the kids to the park. We all had a lot of fun. We ate lunch and then we drove up into the mountains, (Mt. Emily) and drank some yummy water from Cold Springs, and then drove up to the lookout and saw the beautiful view of the Valley below. It is an amazing site. It was a bit scary though to be so high up, by a cliff. We had to watch our kids very closely (hold onto them) and also our husbands, they seemed to like to get close to the edge (I guess not too close)—but too close for Celestia and my comforts. Anyway, we drove down and then ate some dinner (the guys cooked for us). Then we talked and spent some time together, and had fun. Then we went to bed. We are having fun with them.

Elizabeth,
Yup I am lurking on your blog. I got the link from Summer's blog.. Hope that's ok.. I can't believe how big your kids are getting. I swear Rachel should still a baby. Time goes by too fast. Great blog it's fun seeing your guys, we only see you at wal-mart and we are always in a hurry and I am usually sooooo tired. Talk to you later.

I have the exact same hampers that your daughter is in! I love that they are easily carried. I hate that they get stuck inside each other if stacked empty. Oh,and half my handles have fallen off, too. We should start a crappy-handled-hamper resistance movement or something....:oD
how fun to see celestia and her fam again. sounds like an exciting trip up the mountain
I am glad that your family and Celestia's had so much fun together! :)
