{Christmas "Eve & Day": December 2013}

This year Christmas was an adventure.  Most of our children don't remember living in an apartment at all, let alone having Christmas in one.  It was Baby H's first Christmas, even though she was born very close to Christmas, that she almost had Christmas last year.  We left all of our decorations in storage (except for our tree), so we bought all of the decor at the Dollar Store to celebrate with.  It's a tradition that we always give our Children new pajamas and a new ornament on Christmas Eve.
We actually had Christmas Eve 4 days before the "Actual" Christmas Eve, (we made an appointment with Santa Clause) because we were going up to Washington for Christmas this year (We do an every other year thing with Thanksgiving and Christmas with each side of the family).  So we made and ate a delicious Christmas Dinner on Christmas Eve with our Children.  Baby H's pajamas were a little too big for her, so she was trying to maneuver walking in them (she was actually doing quite well).
On Christmas Morning, the Children enjoyed taking turns opening presents, and we really loved watching their eyes fill with glee, as they opened their magical gifts.  We always have them open their stockings first, and then eat a special Christmas breakfast together, and then continue to open presents together.
Baby H was helped by all, as she tried to learn how to open presents.  She really loved ripping the paper on the gifts the best.  But being nearly one, she seemed to understand that there were pretty surprises inside each box, after a little while of having fun with the wrapping paper. She enjoyed looking at what was inside also.  Our girls opening their stockings together, Princess R with Baby H, and Daddy helping our boys open their stockings.

I decided to make some of our gifts to other people {again} this year.  So I made {Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix in a Jar}, {Rice Hand Warmers}, {Lipgloss}, {Candy Cane Bath Salts}, and {Lemon Sugar Scrub} to add to our Gifts to others.  I enjoyed making the gifts, and the kiddos enjoyed helping me.
We really loved spending every moment of Christmas Day together.  Here is Baby H receiving her very first camera (with a proud Mama looking on).

We had a Very Happy Christmas together this year.  Baby H was excited to receive her very first Barbie (Mermaid Ariel) and Little Brother C was so excited to receive a Big Yellow Dump Truck.

 Sharing some Christmas Love.
The kids had fun pushing Baby H around in Little Brother C's new Dump Truck.  They also enjoyed creating beautiful art on their new Art Easel.  We had an Amazing Christmas together this year!
