Tagged Twice: My hubby Mark & 8 faves: Get to Know Me Questionnaire {2008}

(tagged by Suzanne) :) I love writing things about my husband Mark. Especially since I didn't get a chance to write on our 6th anniversary (in August). I love him so much. He is such an amazing husband and father. I feel so lucky to have him be mine forever. :)

Where we met: We met through my sister Angela and her husband Grant

How long we dated before we got hitched: We were friends for 4 years before we started dating, and we dated seriously for a month before we got engaged, and then were engaged for 6 months.

How long have we been married: 6 years

What's my fave feature about him: His brown eyes and strong arms to hold me :)

What's my fave quality about him: He is extremely patient and forgiving. He doesn't let things get to him and he has a very level head and can stay calm in a stressful situation. Plus he has a great work ethic and is very loving and kind.

What's his nickname for me: honey, baby or sweetie

His fave color: Blue

His fave food: Seafood and Chinese..although he likes anything that I cook

His fave sport: Baseball and Basketball

Who said the L word first: He did and then I did shortly after

First kiss, when and where: January 2002, in my apartment livingroom

Fave couple thing to do: EVERYTHING. We love to be together. Snuggling, kissing :) Traveling, Hiking, Camping, ANYTHING

How many kids: 3- E, R and K

His hidden talent: Cooking. He's is a fabulous cooker and baker. He makes amazing pies, cheesecake, fudge, you name it.

His age: 31

His fave music: Country and Soft Rock

What I admire most about him: He completes me. He has strengths that I don't have and he helps me want to be a better person. He can get along with just about anyone. He is such a sweetheart, very romantic and spontaneous. He loves to spoil me and the kids. He has a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

His fave pastime: He likes to read, enjoys video games occasionally and is very good at building or fixing anything with his hands. He also has an excellent singing voice (we love singing together). He also loves anything outdoors, camping, hiking, etc. He loves spending time with us, his family. :)

Will he read this: Maybe...but definitely if I ask him to.

8 favorite tv shows: I am so out of the loop because I haven't had cable for 4 years. I have the "Gilmore Girls" and "Friends" dvds and I watch those. I'd like to find a good television show to download or buy. Any suggestions???

8 Things that happened yesterday: I am visiting my family without my husband. I took the kids to get pictures taken (Little Man E's 4 yr pics and the 3 of them together, Baby K, Baby K & me, and me with the kiddos), My sister Ang watched the kids for a couple hours while I took Baby K and went to Home Depot and bought a bunch of stuff for our new house (to build it with), and I came back to Angela's and all of my kids had poop related emergencies (gotta love being a mom :) ). And I went back to my parent's house and visited with my brother Dan and his wife Jolie, brother Tom, Joe and my Dad (my mom is visited her mom and sisters for the week).

8 things I'm going to look forward to: Visiting some more with my family. Going home to be with my amazing husband Mark. Getting our new house finished and moving into our first home! Dressing up our family for Halloween and going Trick or Treating downtown, Playing with my kiddos, Snuggling with my husband, Living in the moment and cherishing them all

woops, I thought I could comment on the other post before this one.
well, anyway, that was fun to read your answeres. Mark is a good example to all us. I think back to when he was excited to get an ice pick, but he didn't show it and so you told us all, "Really you guys, I know he doesn't look it, but he is super excited right now!". I always thought that was funny. That was at christmas after Glen and I were married.

Hey! It's fun to read all your answers. I'm glad you're so happy! You look so great for just giving birth, too. I read your question on my blog about what color paint is on our walls. I'm not sure, because they painted our house on their own. We found our house after it was already finished. I LOVE the color though. It's like a dark beige, or tan color. I bet if you go to your local paint store, they'll have samples of the most popular new shades. They should have one just like it. If you can't find one, let me know and I'll call our builders to find out. I am sooo excited for you to move in when your house is done. It is like Heaven on Earth! I love the new house smell so much.

I know what you mean about it being exciting to build your own house. We are pretty excited and can't wait for it to be finished! Yah, I am going to want to find a color like that for my living room. I love it.
