Easter 2007

Our Easter was amazing. We went to church and had a wonderful meeting, with great talks. Mark and I sang in the choir. My friend Rachel and I played some violin duets. It was awesome (pic of us below). We had a easter bunny hunt for the kids and they loved it. We are thinking about changing to having it on Saturday or Monday next year, so we can focus on the true meaning of Easter Sunday more, about Jesus Christ. We heard a great idea about having "Bunny Day" on Monday, for Family Home Evening, and buying the candy and stuff when it's 1/2 off instead of full price and focusing on the true meaning of Easter, on sunday. We went over to Mark's parents and they had a hunt for the kids and gave them Easter baskets, and we had a wonderful easter dinner with Mark's family. They had these dinosaur eggs (plastic eggs shaped like a dinosaur head) they were a BIG hit with Baby E. He LOVES dinosaurs. He even said tricerotops...which is a huge word for him. We took some pictures of our family by some popcorn trees (blossom trees--we have to sing Popcorn Popping) with Baby E, when we see them and a lot lately. He loves the song, and wants to "Eat" the "Popcorn" off of the trees. Luckily, we have one (a white one) right outside our place, so we can see it through our window. Baby E loves it. Baby R is really starting to repeat what we say, and she said "Hi Dada" the other day, and she is walking quite well. This was her 2nd Easter before she turns one, because she was born like 3 days before Easter last year, and Easter falls this year, before Baby R turns one--this Friday the 13th (I can't believe she will be one already!!) It was a fabulous Easter.

Glad you had a good Easter--I miss coloring the eggs. In England all they have is lots of chocolate eggs. Love the pics especially the ones next to the flowers.

Great Pictures! I am so glad that you started up blogging it is such a great way to keep up on each others lifes and to watch your children grow. They are so cute. That second child always seems to grow to fast. Conner will be two in May and I can't believe he is that old.

Love the pictures Liz! I have to say that Mark looks like his Dad bigtime, in the picture of him in suspenders. My favorite of these pictures, is the one of Rachel in her bib! What a cute little face!

Rachel's personality is really emerging as evidenced in these photos. I like her little attitude in the one with the bib. Love, Mom
