It's craziness. The toys and shows that my children are into, remind me very much of the things that I was into when I was a child...they are slightly familiar...wait a minute! They are a lot of the same things! Barbies, My Little Ponies, Care bears, She-rah, He-man, Ninja Turtles, Transformers, etc. Of course, they also like the classics, all Disney Movies, Disney Princesses, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck too. My kids like them all. I think that the marketers that sell these brands and items were very smart, because what are children of the 80's and 90's going to buy their kids? If they loved these toys as children, and then they are brought back, of course they will buy them for their kiddos too! Very very smart. Of course, it does have to do with these being great toys too.
We have been watching old cartoons on www.hulu.com, www.free-tv-video-online.info/internet/ and www.veoh.com It's been pretty cool. :)

I totally agree - it is so fun to be able to buy the same toys that we loved as children for our own kids. I still have some Care Bear books from when I was little that Ruby 'reads' now. I love that!
